From the two images you can see some similarities and some differences such as the style of clothing, hair style and also the background. The style of hair doesn't really matter when it comes to representing the artist as long as its not too crazy e.g. spikes, shaven down hair so that it gives you the impression its a punk or rock magazine. The clothing i have used is less colourful than the picture of 'Daughter' because i wanted more attention to be drawn to the artist than her clothing but i could have changed what she wore to be more colourful but that might have taken the simplicity away and i thought the colour of her hair where it fades brought more of a variety and added the extra colour to the artist but kept it simple and looked good without having to have bright clothing or different styled clothing the backgrounds are different but once again on the grey and whit background it keeps with the colour scheme and keeps the simpicity. The similarity within the two artists are their facial expressions where they look serious but still show a slight bit of happiness allowing the audience to see that that they love music and take it seriously and try hard. In both pictures there is a mid-shot of them just showing their waste up so that it doesn't overcomplicate the artist or the image keeping the simplicity of the genre. Their positioning is almost similar to one another with their hands buy their sides but i have made my artist turn side on almost to create diversity between the images throughout the magazine and so that the audience doesn't get bored with similar images.
